The East - Mannheim

The worst place for anyone who is vegan or has dietary restrictions. Also, the staff is just poorly trained and ill-informed. I asked for vegan vegetable noodles and they got me noodles full of egg. When I brought this to their attention, the servers fought with me about the status of egg as a food suitable for vegans. I was literally screamed at by two servers because apparently, egg is vegan

My visit to this place was quite positive. The price was compared to the Asian restaurants in my country very fair for more than big enough portions of good quality. I did not take a Buffet as I already ate enough during lunch but the food was good!

We were late, we arrived half an hour before closing but we had enough time to enjoy the buffet. The food is delicious, especially the grill. Also, the staff is very friendly. So, overall, we recommend this place! Enjoy!

Enough varieties and tasty food, Nice seating in the city center. Service can be little more polite. Overall good.

Whilst in Mannheim for work, the team chose to go to The East for group dinner. The service was great, fast and friendly. The food choices were plentiful, with the opportunity to choose produce, then have it cooked and served. A great experience but only lacking a little atmosphere. Please try!
