Manly Wine - Manly (NSW)

Manly Wine is one of my favourite beach side restaurants right across the beach with ocean views. They regularly change their menu and it always has several vegan options which are always very tasty. The staff are super friendly and I’ve made many last minute reservations and they’ve always been very accomodating and helpful! Great wine list. They also cater for bigger functions. They have a special at the moment to double the value of NSW Dine Vouchers.

Ordered a bottled juice and took forever to make its way to the table, bit disappointing considering I was nearly finished my meal by the time it came to the table.

Booked for a birthday 9 people and they were very accommodating and even gave the birthday gal a brownie which was lovely. As many restaurants/bars the music far too loud for anyone to talk, they did turn the speaker down near us which helped. Wine price list deceiving, the price of wine was by the glass and I thought by the bottle whereas it actually was by the carafe. Therefore the wine I ordered thinking it was $39 for the bottle was actually $59 for the bottle which was crazy. They did adjust the bill but they need to adjust their wine list to accurately reflect the 3 prices for glass, carafe and bottle.

Disappointed with one of our meals we ordered the 'pan fried Yamba prawns ' and there tasted so bad that no one at the table could eat them, our other meals were ok. Staff were really friendly.

The food was excellent but service was poor. We had to ask three different waitstaff for the wine taster they had offered to bring to the table. We were half way through our lunch before the wine arrived. The Manager did offer to take of the 2 glasses of wine off the bill. We reserved a table and when we arrived asked to be seated outside. We were informed that there was no table service outside (5 staff and pretty quiet) so we had to order at the street kiosk! A shame as the food was very good.
