Gyro V - Mandaluyong

This greek doner sandwich is enough to satisfy your cheesy and beefy cravings. I ordered All meat "Beef Gyro" plus additional cheese because cheese is love! The place was good and I love the Santorini feels. About the taste I can say that it's good but there's something missing, maybe they should add more spices to make it perfect. I ordered their beef rice to go. When i opened my box, i wished i asked for extra white sauce. But when i tasted the sauce, i was glad I didn't. It didn't taste Mediterranean at all. It tasted Filipino (sweet, like watered down mayonnaise). There's some hint of spices in there but a little subdued. Just glad the vegetables were fresh.

Another restaurant popped out of food establishment rich, SM Megamall. When I saw this spot one day, I was wondering what it was before. It was a retail shop and it seems a number of similar turnovers have been doing their rounds in the mall.  They serve Greek Doner and it can be served either through buttered rice or their signature waffle like crispy bread. I tried the beef, it was tasty but a significant portion was tough. I also felt extenders. The grilled chicken on the other hand was appetizing. I love that it was soft and well seasoned.  They make their own cheese sauce and this can be added to your order for just Php 10. Their fries which are quite fresh and packed can be availed for an extra Php 35.  This is definitely a welcome addition to snacks that you can have on the go.
