The Northern Quarter Restaurant Bar

We had a culinary delight at this restaurant on Saturday evening and it was perfect. The sherry-infused figs were delicious and the Goosnargh chicken paired with a very pleasant Albariño was exceptional. The service was friendly and attentive as always. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning.

What a hidden gem this is. Amazing food which was absolutely delicious. Enjoyed every mouthful. Cosy restaurant with attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for us. We will certainly be visiting again.

What a fantastic meal we have just had at TNQ. Great value, great service sublime food. Very quiet when we arrived at 5.30, but filled up later. We ate from the express menu which had brilliant choices. We had crispy pork, beetroot salad salt and pepper squid whitebait all were absolutely delicious as our empty plates confirmed!! Mains were flat iron steak, baked cod, seafood spaghetti( quoted as the best ever! lamb kofta flat bread. Good sized portions perfectly cooked. This will now be our go to in Manchester, the best meal we’ve had in the big city for ages, thanks for restoring my faith in city centre restaurants.

Lovely quiet restaurant with a great menu in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Opposite the old Fish Market facade the restaurant has lovely ambience with a cosy interior and gentle music playing. Food was very tasty. Serving size is not huge but if you get a starter and main it's filling. Service was excellent too.

Sunday lunch was amazing. Lamb with cauliflower cheese with truffle. Lots of gravy to. Starter was very nice but dessert wasn't that good coconut panna cotta. Will definitely be going again. Service was top polite professional and very much attentive to us.
