Bidrage med feedbackI have to admit, I'm a buffet lover in my heart. I know many abhor the thoughts of open food containers, regardless of the smoked but I can look by unless I see something terrible. added, hot food fresh, tasty, turned, safe, etc. to keep is a large order that always leads to much waste every day, and restaurants must strategize to avoid excessive waste by the pursuit of food, restaurant traffic, etc. I was half a dozen times at the most common buffet with different levels of satisfaction. it's what it's like they say. but this last week I went there for a quick workday lunch, mostly sought egg foo young, just to find that they are a little scraped on the buffet, and no gravity; not good, but definitiw not, why I give them 2 stars. I switched geared and made other choices of both directed I was familiar and unfamiliar with. I have probably tried a dozen or more offers just to find 1-2 of them. they were either cold, clean (flavor-wise), or in some cases only exposed. for the first time I left myself angry and slightly nasty when I was eating that I ate, checking and how it felt. $22.00 with top is not chop house money, but it should be a decent lunch, and not one that force them to leave more food on their teller than they want to eat. not sure if I ever try them again.
We went for the buffet today at 1155 am.. they open at 11 so we thought the food would be good. It looked amazing and it smelled good.. The problem was that most of the food was cold. I am not talking Luke warm, I mean cold.. specifically the boneless ribs, lomein, and chicken fingers and teriyaki. Which basically means we were eating cold leftovers. When we told the waitress she got nasty, at this point we decided we did not want to wait for them to make new food and told her that we were not paying because we had not eaten.. She made us pay for our child and drinks.. even though she only ate 4 bites and we didn't drink any of our sodas. I will never go back.
Started going here a few months ago, generally I go once a month for the lunch buffet. The chinese food portion of the buffet is probably one of the best ones I've gone to over the years. The rest of the buffet is not good so stay away from any part that isn't chinese food it's gross. Good service and very fair prices, again the chinese food on the buffet has always been fresh and it's like eating a regular sit down meal except....you get as much as you want. YUM!
We picked this restaurantfrom on Google looking for good Chinese . One of the reasons we picked it was since covid we've stayed away from any sort of buffet. But right on the site it stated that they follow all health precautions and they wear gloves and masks and sanitize the tables in between seatings. Well where do I start... first of all food was not even warm more like cold to cool. Being in the business I know not to eat food at that temp. Then I saw them bring out fresh food and went right up and it was barely warm. The building it self was cold we ate with our jackets on. Most of the food was empty selection was miming. They had a chocolate pie which I couldn't tell what it was a it was a very black color) and you could tell it was very old as the pudding had shrunk and separated from the sides of the pie crust. The chicken skewers the chicken tatted off like it was starting to turn bad. And as we waited for the bill o noticed that they were NOT sterilizing the tables in between settings. Then when they brought the check the check holder was filthy picture to follow) no sanitizer anywhere and the bathrooms were horrible. So we give it two thumbs down.
Best Buffet around, food is great and waitresses are friendly, there are two of them. One is Stacey and the taller one with the glasses, her name is Susan Yujin. Both work hard and aim to please their customer. I love the Manchester Buffet. Great Buffet Restaurant.
