Hunan House - Mahanoy City

Great food. Tiny place and it's pretty run down, but they definitely make some good Chinese food. Don't expect some fancy sit down dining experience, order out and enjoy the food.

We ordered five meals, which usually costs around $60 plus tip at any other Chinese restaurant. My bill was almost $100. When I asked for a receipt, it only had numbers on it and was not itemized. The prices did not match the prices on the menu at all.

When I arrived at the restaurant, I was not informed that they only accepted cash. I had to leave and find an ATM before being able to order. Additionally, when I finally received my food, it was cold and incorrect.

We absolutely adore this restaurant - it's our favorite spot for Chinese food in the area. We've tried many others, but Hunan House is truly the best! Everything on the menu is fantastic, but we always make sure to order the teriyaki beef sticks and crab Rangoon.
