Chez Max is a wonderful little bistro serving superb local dishes and the best steak tartare I have ever eaten. The prices are fair; the portions are generous. We have been here twice and will certainly return on our next visit to the area.

The service, help and attention could not have been better and we had a most excellent meal. For my main course I had the rack of lamb which was superb. The others were also very happy too. Will definitely visit again on our return to Épernay.
