Caffe 5 - Madalena

O Cinco is a popular restaurant and you may have to wait for a table. But the wait is worth it. I enjoyed their soup followed by a chicken kebab platter. For dessert I had their homemade chocolate mousse.

This is a small and busy bistro. Absolutely essential to book. There are not many restaurants in Madalena and this is probably the best. They have a very nice seafood menu with a few slightly different things. The tuna in sauce is super, as is the shrimp salad. Very reasonable prices. The tables are a bit close together.

A small but very nice restaurant. Appeared quite popular and crowded, booking is highly recommended. The food was delicious and the bar well stocked. It's in the centre of town, so quite accessible as well. I would be happy to revisit.

I ate here of nights while in Pico over the holidays, while it was one of very few restaurants open during the holidays, I did not hesitate returning a second night in a row.
