Wang's Asian - Lynwood

Wang’s is cosy and canteen style, but ideal for a good lunch, and has all the malaysian favourites on the menu. Fish head curry laksa seems to be a popular choice with the local asian clientele, but my favourites are char kway teow and nasi lemak. . There’s nothing like loh bak to start – it’s a deep fried beancurd skin roll filled with minced pork, prawn and water chestnuts with a five spice flavour – very yummy – note that I started eating it before I remembered to take a photo.

Came here on Saturday with the family at around 6pm and the place was packed. All Asian diners which means a definitely good place to eat. This restaurant looks ordinary from the outside and inside. Not a big place though there are 3 big tables to accommodate big groups. We were fortunate to get a table for 3. I could see that there 's a lot of takeaway orders while we were there. We ordered the curry laska with fish fillet, the seafood hor fun and the wanton noodle soup. It took a while for our food to arrive. This place is busy as. The wait staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with despite the busyness of the place. The curry laska was tasty, the gravy hit the mark. The wontons were good tasting as well, the char siew and the roast pork didn 't have that weird smell that you sometimes get from the other Asian restaurants. The noodles were springy and not clumped together. The hor fun had enough of the wok hei smell and taste to it.  The gravy was tasty too. How many times have I used the word 'tasty ' here? Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here. The prices are reasonable as well, most dishes are under $10. We didn 't order any of the meat or vegetable dishes, that will be for another visit.

This place has a variety of chinese lunch dishes popular in Malaysia and Singapore. The menu is clear with pictures. I ordered the beef kway teow and it was nice. My friend's noodle dish had gravy that was too soupy. Most dishes are around $9.

This is our local and we love going back. The food is tasty, hot, fresh and served quickly. The staff are friendly and dont mind us taking the yahtzee dice or uno cards. The price is very reasonable and makes eating out with a few people very affordable.
