Colonial Diner - Lyndhurst

The BLT Avocado Wrap and the Tuna Salad Wrap were pretty good and nice sized port. The Maryland Crab Cake Panni was absolutely delicious, loved it!

The baked meatloaf with velvety mashed potatoes and corn was so good. Wish I had more once I was done gobbling it all up for dinner. Meat to breadcrumb ratio was good making the meatloaf light and tasty and not bready tasting. Real comfort food.

The medium rare St. Louis 1/2 lb freshly made burger not frozen with the barbecue sauce was sweet and savory and so delicious. I got an extra burger patty since I was really hungry which made the burger heavier to pick up but so good. next time one burger patty is enough. All the burgers at this diner are made with fresh ground beef and are made well.

The flood was extremely bland. Home fries were just grilled potatoes. Even the bacon had no flavor! No seasoning and none provided either with the utensils. My toasts was forgotten with my order (omelette). My son enjoyed his chocolate chip pancakes, and the only reason for the second star.

Food quality was poor, tasteless and seem old ingredients were used. It used to have great food, but in recent months I noticed the quality of the food had significantly decreased.
