The waitress was very friendly, I loved the atmosphere of sitting outside and had a total amazing experience! the food was delicious and I will definitely come again often! very good!

Absolutely love this place, this atmosphere and the staff. When talking to other folks we meet in town we talk about how much we Absolutely love the staff and atmosphere. We've gone on couple dates, met with friends, had family gatherings there and really appreciate the atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly, kind and attentive. We go so often I have so many stories and fun times (why we keep going back). The food is pretty good and the drink options are great. The staff is always really helpful in finding good options for the day too. We also love that we can take anyone to enjoy because it's such a great place to be. It's where we take all visitors who come into town!

The beer selection was phenomenal and the food was tasty but a bit pricey. It was really busy and loud on the weekends but not surprising since it's right on the river park. They were also a bit short staffed for the crowd, so be prepared to relax and enjoy a casual meal.

If you're in Lynchburg you have to put this bar on your list! Anywhere between 30 and 36 beers on tap, plus a full service bar! Also, if you're an oyster fan it's a 2 for 1. From 3-6 Monday thru Friday and all day Sunday they have oysters for $1 a piece. Great ambiance and terrific service. Mustn't miss!!

WD holds a special place in my heart for introducing me to an amazing IPA, Tropicannon. Most of my experience has been with the bar service and in that area they do a good job considering how busy they get I’ve eaten here a few times over the years and the food has always been pretty good. The crabby poppa w crab bisque soup is my go to. The only issue with eating there is the strong possibility of being seated near a loud table of people getting smashed, even during the day. This isn’t the water dog’s fault but it’s worth noting for newcomers
