The Spud - Lufkin

Once again, The Spud never disappoints. The service is always friendly and quick, and the food is consistently delicious. Last night, we tried a new item on the menu - Corn in a Cup, which reminded us of Mexican spicy corn. We ordered a large size to add to our loaded potatoes, and my only complaint is that it didn't come in a bigger portion. It was absolutely fantastic! We are considering going back again tonight.

My daughter and I visited Lufkin and decided to have lunch. After looking at several places, we found a restaurant with good reviews that served delicious potatoes and salads. The lady who took our order was friendly and provided helpful descriptions of the food. The option to dine outside or use the drive-thru was available, so we chose to enjoy the beautiful weather with my grandson outdoors. Our food arrived in about 6 minutes and we were both very impressed. The potato was huge and came loaded with butter, cheese, bacon, and sour cream. It was moist and topped perfectly. We also shared a fresh Cobb salad that was made with quality ingredients. My grandson enjoyed his smaller potato with light butter and cheese, accompanied by some chicken. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant to locals and travelers in search of a great lunch spot. Give it a try!
