Several menu suggestions are offered to the guest, I chose the Spreewald menu with Zander instead of the alternative Wildbratengang. After ordering, the service first served bread with different flavored butter I hope I get together, that was something berries, red, what with curry, yellow and lemon, as well as what tomato. Together with the bread selection a good bridging until the start of the menu. The kitchen was served on the table with a swing, a schnapps glass I looked in, a sort of salad. Zigeunersalat was advertised by the service.......political correctness is not the Lübbenauer cause. But I think in almost every head there is an association with paprika, sausage, light sharpness, onions.... so was it. A gypsy salad as well as earlier when he was still so named in the cooler. That was a bit too good for the expected kitchen. Hopefully, this would increase..... First course of the ordered menu was flow cancer soup river crabs, tomato, estragon and salad cucumber, the card continued to look.... The nose sample made joy that was a very aromatic crust animal soup. On request, I was confirmed that lobster carcasss were the basis of soup, along with river cancer residues. The estragon was clearly perceptible, as was the unannounced but clearly perceptible reservoir. Together with some crabs, this was a very good crust soup! Fine, I regained hope for a dinner corresponding to my expectations. Main course, roasted zander fillet with sour cream herbal sauce, fried mushrooms, broccoli and potato puree. That was a good idea and in the presentation. A very fine pine, well tasted. The mushrooms were pifferlings, also well prepared. A few sugar chops and a perfectly cooked broccoli in the green fraction. Most important of the dishes, the fish. The fillet was crunchy and fried on the floured skin side, which had almost too much bite. Because by this roasting, the fish was too far fried, over glassy. But this is also a matter of personal preferences. I think it's hard that the majority of the clientele, consisting predominantly of restrainers, wants it exactly the same. Next time I just ask for shorter cooking time. Then from almost well becomes a probably unrestricted good gear! Hintendran Gang 3, Chocolate Parfait and Quarkknödel with Minzkirschen according to map. A somewhat gloomy presentation on the plate offered me. Parfait was there, cost, good, not too sweet, despite brighter chocolate. The cherries also, with fresh mint on top, in the sauce I found no minzaroma again, with some fresh berries, also delicious. Surprise at the dumpling, when I saw that there was chocolate in it! Little secret delusion at the end, delicious! To the menu from the narrow but well-sorted wine card a Riesling from the Moselle. A plumbing from Wehlen near Bernkastel Kues, by Markus Molitor. Riesling from Blauschiefer 2015. Very fine, pronounced acid, yet fruity, with mineral reverberation. Does this Molitor actually make wines that don't taste me? That was now the second wine with white capsule dry which I tasted very well. I'm annoyed more and more that I'm not here to rehearse in 2015 when I walked past the Moselsteig. Fine, with this wine you can't spoil the mood anymore, the bottle was too fast empty. To the service, there was nothing to complain about. The ladies and gentlemen did your work without mistakes and tadels. Friendly and cheerful the guests were served. That was a pleasure. So I can come to the conclusion. No star kitchen, but ambitious. Next time I steer the kitchen even more on my preferences, but also on this evening I couldn't really complain about the offered. The PLZ goes fine menu for 30 EUR, selected wine 38 EUR . I like to come back! After the end of the meal, go to the beautiful bar and close the evening! So it will be a nice night at the Lübbenau Castle.
We were happy again and spent a pleasant evening. tasty eating, good advice on wine selection as well as the nice service have rounded off the evening.
