The Norman Warrior - Lowestoft

We've been here several times in the past for meals with friends. The choices on the menu are getting less and less. We've been told in the past that there is no need to book a table. We had friends staying for the weekend and they suggested coming here for a meal and drinks as we have in the past. We visited on Saturday 7/11/23 at 19.40 only to find the restaurant was locked. On enquiring in the bar we were told it had been cleaned and would not be opened. We were offered the chance to eat in the bar but as this was quite noisy with pool tables, kids shouting and the fact that there were no empty tables we refused as we could'nt eat and drink or talk in peace. We left, disappointed. We won't be coming back.

We held our wedding lunch at the Norman Warrior recently. The staff were all very friendly , the food was great too. Very reasonably priced drinks, lovely beer garden, great size restaurant. What more could we ask for. Thanks Shaun, we appreciated everything you arranged for us and for the staff being so kind and helpful. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5
