I legit come at least once a week. i love their food always sooo good, the service is always top tier and the ambience is amazing! All the servers are amazing!

9/23/23 It 's easy for me to see why The Wheel in Pottsville changed menus after this debacle. Very poor experience here, that 's putting it nicely. Very nicely. I had brought my brother and sister in law today here with my husband and I really wish I hadn 't. . . Previously, I had recommended The Wheel to my sister who came here twice with my young niece despite a 45 minute wait for grilled cheese. I was really hoping that was a one off- well a two off experience. I 'm pretty forgiving and believe in second chances. The restaurant at that time was fulfilling to go orders while customers in the dining room were left neglected. Not a good way to do business. We went today, a party of 4. We were literally the only people in the dining room when we sat down. We waited for well over 45 minutes for our food even though other tables were getting their appetizers in a decent amount of time. The server must 've apologized to every table for the wait. How about fixing the issue?? The fries and tater tots were served cold. My grilled cheese did not have my onion straws or tomato slices. The person who served us looked like she was in the kitchen cooking. I had asked for bacon jam it was not served with my food. The person who served the food went to get it and served me coagulated cold stuff as bacon jam The employees at the wheel were apologetic and tried to make up for it, but there have just been too many poor experiences there to even consider going back. I really don 't understand why grilled cheese sandwiches should take 45 minutes or more? If you can 't execute the menu then don 't offer it. I was very disappointed because we need business in Tamaqua, the restaurant is clean and appealing but I only hear excuses like we got busy , or sorry for the wait, we were doing to go orders . As a customer that 's not my problem. I will say the day manager did bring a basket of hot fries after we were done eating almost and did offer to bring my tomato slices and onion straws but I was so frustrated with the whole experience I lost my appetite. They did remove the cost of my sandwich from the bill. My bacon jam was cold and coagulated and not even served warm as a sauce. Why would you even serve that?! Seriously and that was served by the day manager. I will not be going back. EVER. Unless you like waiting forever for cold fries and food i don 't recommend this establishment. I 'm done!

Kid-friendliness: Fun for kids to make their own Grilled Cheese. Wheelchair accessibility: The building is all one level and the back dining room is accessible via ramp.

We had a great experience at the wheel. Hubby ordered the chicken sandwich with house-made chips as listed on the menu. I 'created ' my own grilled cheese with smoked gouda, ham, tomato, pickle and bacon jam on Italian bread with a side of Mac and cheese. We both truly enjoyed every bite of our meals and our server was very kind and friendly. The atmosphere inside is just OK, but, the food is well worth the visit. Food: 5

I want them to suffocate me with their cheese this is how I want to die. Please bury me with the ribeye sandwich. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
