The Eagle Food Beer Hall - Lower Saucon

I was surprise how great the food was here. The portions were quite generous as well! My niece's chicken BLT was cut in half, but each half was the size of a whole sandwich! So, she had lunch for the next day. I had the chicken legs (5 for $12) with the spicy honey sauce on the side. Also, oreder just a half of the salad we hardly finished it and were wondering just how big a whole salad would be. The Eagle is a hidden gem. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last!

Really wanted some good fried chicken, but this was not the place. Greasy and the batter was burnt and falling off. The spoon bread was good, but the mac and cheese was just noodles mixed with cheese sauce and some toasted crumbs on top. Had made a reservation for the dining room, but when we got there, were told there were two parties in front of us. What is the point in taking a reservation? Ended up sitting at a high top in the bar area. Would not really recommend.

Food was excellent but service was a bit of a miss. To be fair, it was January 1st for lunch and they were likely understaffed. Food took more than 1 hour to arrive after we sat. Overall still a good lunch and will come back.

Food was delicious and they have delicious unique cocktails! Service was very friendly and music and vibe was great! Don't forget the 5$ “pickleback” shots that were surprisingly good?

I went due to my apartment complex offering a VIP experience. Great location and service. I got the whole fried chicken and fries. The fries were a bit too salty but besides that it was cool.
