Perkins Bakery - Lower Saucon

Can't imagine how or why the reviews on here are so up and down, but I had a terrible experience. No host or hostess when I arrived, so me (and the guy waiting in front of me) had to wait around until a busboy came up and asked if I wanted a table. When I said yes he said he'd go clean it and come back. Hello? Service after that was just incredibly slow. Then when we were done no one brought us a check so we just went to the cashier and told them which table we were at so we could pay and get out. Food wasn't even that good, and they were NOT packed or overly busy.

It's pumpkin pancake time again! Always a tasty fall treat.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with waitress Lyndsey for the holiday season she sure was grinchy. The food was horrible! All I ate was a slice of ham from my whole meal. Then they argued with a senior guest I was with over toast that they didn’t add to her order in the first place. Then she wanted wheat and they brong white .. Oddly they were treating all the other guest fine!! Manager was no help! Told us he would take the toast off this one time but not the next. All that for toast?? The whole restaurant needs hospitality or maybe Perkins locations should have all closed but it’s okay I won’t be back! But what a waste of money in today’s hardship!!!

11/18/23 Terrible service, terrible food. 7 of us are there tonight. I ordered the Big Country Skillet- over done eggs and tater tots. Wife ordered cinnamon roll French toast- 15 min after our order was placed they informed us that there were no cinnamon rolls, she had to reorder and got over cooked eggs. Waited until the food came out to tell us they didn’t have enough Mac and cheese for my daughter’s meal. Our friend ordered country fried steak- was like a brick, eggs over cooked. This was all after we waited 20 min to order drinks, 40 min before we received drinks and a total of an hour before we received our meals. It was only us and 1 other table in the entire restaurant. They did take some money off our bill. But this location should just close.

My family and I have been going here for years. They have the best pancakes, and they know how to make eggs, including omelets, as well as a Jersey diner. We have been buying their baked goods for family parties and special occasions for many years. Their French Silk Pie is fantastic, as is their Lemon Meringue Pie. I personally love their brownies, and my grandson loves their chocolate chip cookies. Their muffins are huge, and they are always fresh and delicious. We started getting takeout from here recently, and we have never been disappointed. You simply can't go wrong with Perkins!
