Ponderosa Steak House - Louisville

Ponderosa brings back many fond memories of growing up. Was my favorite as a child and still is as a adult. Their steaks are very tasty and tender. If you've never tried their own steak sauce then give it a try it's very good. The buffet has many options anywhere from meats to salad to soup to dessert. Staff is always friendly and down to earth. Overall a great place to eat.

Loved this place! So sad to hear that the Preston Highway location will be closing its doors for good Sunday August 16, 2020.

Good place to eat. Friendly service. Good food. Always fresh and hot at this location. Usually gets busy by noon for lunch crowd. Lunch buffet is only $8.79. Even the local police eat here, Which says the food must be good. Never had an issue here.

The chopped steak, baked potato and sweet tea were delicious. The macaroni and cheese on the buffet wasn't very warm, and the coconut cream pie (also on the buffet) had a stronger flavor that I didn't like. I would eat here again.

Food warm and delicious and our server was fantastic. Definitely recommend the all you can eat crab legs!
