One of my favorite places in the city always top-notch go to the speakeasy. Sherman and the entire staff are amazing

We've had good experiences going here. However, this time is was ruined for us,probably permanently. There was an overwhelming smell of sewage. When we first walked in you're hit by it. When we sat down the smell was still there. In your nose,everywhere,it ruined the food experience! My husband went to the bathroom where the smell only got worse,overwhelmingly worse! So we decided to say something to our waitress who was nothing but kind and went and got managment which we didn't ask for. He was also very kind and explained that it was a grease trap problem and he was attempting to fix the problem. We understand that the restaurant business is tough. We understand that the reviews matter. However, expierience is everything! Our experience was just crappy enough(pundt intended)to keep us from going back.

I did not eat any meals there but the bartender and atmosphere was one for the books. This is a small but very comfortable establishment.

Great venue for quiet evening and conversation. Drinks and food were exceptional.

What a work dinner there. It was an amazing atmosphere, and the food was the same. Extensive bourbon list to boot. My server Lauren was excellent and one of the proprietor’s (Sherman) I know to be as good as they come. Overall great experience!
