Cole's French Dip - Los Angeles

Love the nostalgia of this place. It just feels and looks historic. The food is quite delicious. The beef dip, fries, mac and cheese, and onions rings were amazing.

Wow! I felt like I time traveled back to the coolest past! The roast beef deep was every bit as tasty as it looks. I would order a whole sandwich next time! I want to come here every weekend and enjoy the people, decor, and vibe.

Food: is a 4,only because I 'm a Philippe fan. But the large cup of Aju on the side,the spicy pickle. Are something that add to the food and is a must try for yourself .The staff behind the bar were amazing, helpful, quick even when orders were stacking up,they did not cut corners to serve an amazing cocktail. Favorite drinks that night, a Tom Collins, Sazerac,the penicillin, and something they called winter storm sour ??? I 'm blaming the camera but maybe I was blurry when we left. IDK. :

Outstanding service and vibe. Had beef dip, the roll was very dense and heavy, au jus was a ten roast beef not so good. Cole slaw was very good. Drink pours also good. Glad I visited.

Had the French dip , and it was insanely expensive for the mediocrity of the the sandwich. Not sure if it used to be better.
