Bidrage med feedbackI can't get enough of the Korean BBQ over here delicious and fresh good service most of the time! One of my favorite spot
They no longer have the $9.99 menu. Prices have gone up : The group wanted the $15.99 option tier 2 which includes bulgogi. The cheaper tier doesn't have bulbogi, apparently. We were able to get our abundant supply of brisket, pork belly, intestine yum! , bulgogi and flank steaks I think that's what they're called . There's plenty of banchan! I love the macaroni salad and the japchae glass noodles always great additions to the table. The salad was refreshing and I liked how we were able to pour our own salt and sesame oil. Let me just tell you that if you are expecting Grade A service, then you will be disappointed. The food is great. The quality of the meat is great. However, if you do not look or speak Korean, you will spend some of your time trying to flag down the waiters to help you get your refills and meat order. This place isn't really known for their service, but for their food! So just keep that in mind. Parking is available in the back. You can get your parking ticket validated. However, side street parking around the area is always free on Sundays too.
Korean BBQ is a must especially on a weekend. When you go after 6pm. The wait starts to be longer around 2-3 hours. But hey its worth the wait! I was surprised that there were more seats in the back since we ended up sitting there, so the place is big. I come here alot with family/family-friends so we have around close to 30 people so we do wait longer to be seated together
10 bucks for Korean BBQ? Sweet : I wanted to take a break from studying and get Korean BBQ with some of my friends from school, and since we are all broke as a joke paying for school and books I decided something cheap and hot was what the doctor ordered. Obviously it's a limited menu and there are only a few options..but it was enough for me and my friends to enjoy : I really liked the beef belly and the pork chops even though they took forever to cook. In the end all I ever really want is brisket anyway and that's perfect. A few side dishes and salad and I'm a happy clam. Our server was super awesome and nice even though it was crazy packed inside. Everyone was on it with all our requests and wants. Overall it was a pretty good experience. I'd totally come again for some cheapie Korean BBQ : Btw there's a parking lot, although I've yet to find it.
3.5 stars It's definitely cleaner, brighter and up to 4 hr. FREE parking in the parking structure next to the restaurant. The restroom, oh boy, what a difference! I don't even want to go there with the Castle 1's restroom.. Menus are the same. $9.99 with 7 different kinds of meat, $12.99 for 14 kinds of meat and, $15.99 includes 20 different kinds of meat and seafood. All options comes with banchans, rice, and soups, and only the $12.99 and up sets comes with steam eggs also. I think the meat quality is not as good as the original Castle. They marinated the bulgogi way too sweet!! But the beeef ribs, potk belly and brisket is pretty good. We got the $12.99 ayce, and with 14 different kind of meats and sides it was really worth the money. The servers are friendlier here but they always forget to bring your complete order. Another thing I don't like about this place is that they play LOUD Korean pop music. It's hard to have a conversation when all that background noise and the loud music pumping.
