I had the finest appetite for bagel, cream cheese and ox this morning. Stop! I don't expect...LOL! At any rate, I called a friend who lived in the area and asked where I could perhaps bring up my desire and she suggested Katella Deli. I had this delicious dish before, but never from here. Let's just say I'll try my best to get it forward from Katella Deli. The smoked salmon was perfect and the cream cheese was fresh and easy. Sometimes, if you get this combination, the salmon can often taste “fishery” or the cream cheese will overtake the taste of the salmon. That wasn't the case. Thank you. Katella Deli!

I took my family to Katella Deli for dinner last night, and it was quite disappointing. My husband ordered the chicken liver dinner, but the liver and vegetables were cold, and the rye bread served with it was stale. My French dip sandwich with cheese and caramelized onions was also ice cold, the Au Jus was lukewarm, and the cheese hadn't even melted. My son had a dry sandwich, but at least it was warm! The waitress came by to check on us after 20 minutes, which was too late for us to reorder since we had to leave for an appointment. We definitely won't be returning to this restaurant again.

We celebrated both a birthday and a wedding anniversary, only to be met with subpar treatment and low-quality meals. While we typically leave tips exceeding 15%, we felt the staff didn’t merit even the 10% we left this time. To the management at Katella Deli, I urge you to consider doing the community a favor by shutting down your lackluster establishment. If you genuinely want to stay in business, investing in professional culinary training and guest hospitality is essential.

We ordered a sandwich buffet from Katella Deli for a corporate meeting and were very pleased with our selection. The spread included lean corned beef, pastrami, turkey, salami, and rare roast beef, all served on beautiful bread. The accompaniment of a relish tray and potato salad, along with coleslaw, complemented the sandwiches perfectly. There were plenty of leftovers, which was a nice bonus. The cookie platter provided a delightful treat in the afternoon. They also delivered for a reasonable mileage fee. Overall, this was an excellent alternative to the usual pre-packaged sandwiches often served at company meetings.
