Astoria Pizzeria - Long Island City

A small feedback. There is so little cheese on your pies that they turn into crispy pita chips and you don't even feel they have cheese. They feel very dry. Also try to cover the pie with cheese completely.

Unacceptable service. I placed a small order (one pie) thru DoorDash, and was given an ETA of 30 mins. Poor dasher was waiting for more than 45 minutes, only then to find out that they havent even started on the pizza, and notified him that it will takeanother 35 ?minutes. They did not pick up their calls when I tried contacting em which made this even more frustrating. I wouldtotally avoid this place, at least from online ordering.

Was here for dinner with my friends. It was 4 of us. They included 20% of gratuity without even asking. At first it was 22% and we were mad. Waiter told us that the owner makes them do this. Not sure if that?s true. He then went back and changed it to 20%.It didn?t say anywhere on the menu about it. Gratuity is usually included for 6 people or more and normally is 18% Needless tosay, we?re never coming back here. Also service wasn?t exceptional. Food was good and quiet honestly we would?ve probably tipped20% or more anyway but the fact they did that was insane. I?ve been in Astoria for 7 years now and this has never happened to mebefore.

Niiiice... but nothing special. However my baby made love to his fried calamari. He had his eyes closed while chewing and humming.. lol yes!!! Occasionally he opened his eyes to stare down at his plate???????? They were light fluffy, crispy andtender all at the same time. Like. How? But yes!!! We are going back just for that!!! ?? ?? ??
