Bidrage med feedbackI understand there were a lot of people and the staff were a bit overwhelmed for Labor Day but there is no need to be rude to your customers. They had a sign up that said that they were closed until 430 I simply wanted to ask a question in regards to ordering a Taco Pie since I know it takes awhile to make I was basically kicked out and told they were closed until 430 from there I placed an order on the app was called in the store before it reopened. If I wasn't there with my my family who was looking forward to trying out this pie which cost over $100 I would have left took my business elsewhere.
They don’t know how to even reheat their own slices. Guy kept my (expensive) slice in the oven for like a couple minutes. Dead cold and soggy when I went to go eat it. Pointless.
Read the reviews before you go to this place!!! I wish I did. Every bad review says the same thing for a reason. The manager has a terrible attitude, you order food off their menu annd they literally have no idea of what they sell. They told me they don’t offer what I ordered.. Also they’ll be out of an topping and assume you were supposed to know they were out of the product. They’ll still charge you for it though..A refund or an apology wasn’t offered. Just dirty looks.I have two stars because the pizza I did get wasn’t bad. But the service and over paying was.
The experience has been beyond shocking. My family came to long branch shore to celebrate July 4th. we came to Tony Boloney 's to grab a bite. while it was an extremely busy day we stood patiently for our turn to place the order. While ordering the lady said they are no longer serving whole pies and that we should select for the slices that were ready at the counter. it took us while to go and check the available slices nevertheless the order was placed. Our total bill was for $60 for 7 slices of pizza and we gave Tip too !!! we kept waiting to be served and when we saw people just coming by and telling the guys what they wanted we asked what happened to our order ! An employee then paid attention to our order and said we dont have many slices we ordered. To our dismay we highlighted the fact that we stood in the line for long, payment was taken in advance and now the guy says they dont have slices which obviously he was busy giving other in place of going through the sequence of the orders received. The employee who refused to give his name extremely rude way said go away i 'm not giving you guys food ..his another employee friend said take your refund and go away..we told him we stood in the line for food and they cant shoo us away..the guys called the cops on us, this was the hight of disrespect as customers we waited patiently, we duly paid and still were treated disrespectfully and with extremely behavior. The cops said they couldn 't do anything took our ID details and said would make an incident report. I find all this appalling..two women ill treated, we paid for the food, we pay our taxes we do everything we can as citizens then why are we treated because we are women of color ??? Respect isn 't such a big demand, he could have easily said Sorry but the slices are oven can i serve you anything else ...instead he decided to be rude, disrespectful and called the cops on us which ideally we should have done !!!!..FYI..he wasn 't wearing any gloves, he was sweating and dripping through his forehead ..extreme unhygienic conditions of keeping food.
It was just meh! Because this is located in Pier Village, they can charge whatever the want for mediocre food. I figured I had to try it because of the hype, but this is a novelty eatery; nothing more, nothing less. The fries were decent but not worth the price. Can they at least spread the good stuff all over? The bacon, cheese and ranch was literally on a pile in the middle of the fries. The sandwich? I've had better anywhere else. There's nothing special about the sandwich. It is the same size of a Wawa one but at 3 times the price. The only difference with this sandwich and a wawa or QuickChek one is that Tony's has less sodium. I get more flavor and meat from a Jersey Mike's sandwich for less money. Hey, at least I can say that I've tried it. Can't have an opinion without first tasting it, but this is a novelty place for the Bennies and tourists; us locals prefer better.
