Subway - Long Beach-Lakewood

My first visit to this location was just ok. I asked for bacon extra crispy and the person put on the bacon and cheese then put in the oven to toast. So, it's really not extra crispy.Isabella changed my view with this location. She heard my request, put the bacon on the flat bread and toasted it before putting the cheese on and toast the second time.Before she put the cheese on, she even asked me if that's crispy enough!How thoughtful!She was also friendly, professional showed that she cared about her customers.I didn't want any sauces and she even asked if I want salt pepper!I really appreciated her help I hope she will be there every time when I visit(I know that's a big ask but a girl can dream.)Thank you, Isabella!

I had a very good experience at this Subway today. I was trying to order through the Subway app, in order to use some coupons I had in the app. Of course the app wasn't working correctly, and wasn't applying the coupons. The owner of the restaurant was kind enough to match the coupons I had, even though the app wouldn't work for me. He wasn't obligated to go out of his way to do this for me, but he did anyway. I find that to be the hallmark of a well run business, and the type of business I prefer to patronize!I applaud this owner for going the extra distance to correct the corporation's shortcomings!

Subway is always a delicious choice, especially the chicken bacon garlic!

I don't rate fast food/fast casual places often, even thought I admittedly go to them quite a bit.This location deserves a particular shout-out though as the team here is quick to fulfill online orders and courteous when making sandwiches in-person.
