Sakagura - London

Unfortunately, the restaurant is permanently closed and has been replaced by a less upscale ramen noodle bar in the same location. You won't find the outstanding sushi and tempura that they used to serve here anymore. The noodles are decent enough, but Google needs to update their listing to reflect the change.

In general, the meal was good but on the pricier side. The beef cooked on the hot stone was very flavorful, though the portion size was a bit small. The rice in the sushi was tangy and the sushi roll itself was nothing particularly outstanding. I would suggest ordering the beef instead.

I am giving this restaurant 5 stars because I wish I could give it 10 stars! It is a hidden gem in London where you can taste amazing, authentic Japanese dishes paired with fantastic sake. I recently tried the 11 Course Chef's Table and it was truly exceptional – unlike anything I have experienced in London before. Every detail was perfect from start to finish, taking me on a flavorful journey that left me feeling satisfied and smiling. I highly recommend this restaurant and the 11 Course Chef's Table – I can't wait to return!

Authentic Japanese restaurant with a great menu where you can try a bit of everything that's good about Japanese food! Enjoyed the table BBQ, although the beef was a little stringy and average quality. LOVED the mixed skewers and aubergine marinated with miso. The sushi is also very good, can highly recommend the tempura and eel rolls. The food is absolutely beautifully presented, which really adds to the experience. It's a little on the pricy side but can definitely recommend it.
