Bidrage med feedbackThis place is one of the must visit places in chinatown. it offers amazing nudel suppenschale artikel and tees. also the fried fish were good.
Easy and simple. eating is good, with a good but simple menu of choice. After I previously lived in peking, I find the did place that corresponds to the atmosphere of a peking Hutong dinner. I usually go here for my Chinese dump (knowing that you are made in the window)
For a disgusting fan like me, this place was a tasty bite. they eat delicious dumplings (both steamed and roasted are delicious) and observe them on their side made. knödel to make is a skillful job. that's a small place, gets busy quickly. their drinks are also very interesting. ambiance simple no frills. service only, which is required, server can be loud when transferring orders. yet, good place to take a quick bite and carry on for the rest of the day
When they go to chinatown, there are many of these well-populated restaurants that try to pull them with offered by unlimited buffets, but if they are smart or if they want something more real, then they go on until they get to the edge of the opposite and they will find a few small gems like that caffe on the corner of newport court.
Jen Cafe is a casual eatery of the no fuss kind of a place. The star attraction of this cafe has to be the handmade dumplings. These can be seen being made in the front of the shop and in the shop window. Two portions of the vegetarian dumplings were ordered. One portion was steamed and the other was fried. The fried dumplings were only fried on one side which made them not at all greasy. It gave a nice contrast to the texture. Both sets of dumplings were so tasty and even the outer pastry was good. The filling seemed to be a mix of mushrooms, vermicelli and other vegetables.
