Cafe Rouge London Canary Wharf

A good restaurant for a casual meal. The food was good, service a little slow and my salad (and our drinks) was served after the main dish. It was not busy, so not sure why the service was a bit out. They were polite and quick to fix.

Typical Cafe Rouge Fayre. Good food at reasonable prices. Beautiful water side location in sight of the hose station, but away from the crazy crowd. Unfortunately, we waited for our main course for over 45 minutes because the employees chat in a corner and the cook had a cigarette outside. This was corrected and we got a significant discount on our meal, so everything was good at the end.

Very friendly staff food came to about 20 minutes and tasty. It would have come back soon.

It was a hot and sunny (but very windy) Saturday lunchtime and we sat outside. There were only a few waiters covering the outside are and inside the restaurant, so it was under-staffed and service was poor. This was not the fault of the waietrs. The set menu at £12.95 is good value and the Bon Rouge cocktails are good.

Woeful service, waited an hour for food which was mediocre at best. Not good enough. If you offer a lunchtime service please be able to serve in a timely manner and dont have the audacity to add service to the bill.
