New Peking Duck Chinese - Liverpool

The food took a long time to arrive and the incorrect dishes were served. The waiter appeared disinterested and unmotivated to be working.

Upon arrival, we received no greeting and the waitresses looked at us with blank expressions, seeming like zombies. There were no napkins on the table, so I had to make do with salt and pepper chicken fingers. Despite it being advertised as all you can eat, we were only served once in an hour, leaving me and my friend very hungry. When I refused to pay, they insisted I couldn't leave, but I managed to sneak out because they were not going to catch me and I only had a £5 note on me. To make matters worse, I have been experiencing digestive issues all day, which is odd because I last visited the restaurant in 2017.

Despite the busy atmosphere in the restaurant, the noise level was manageable. Our food was served promptly and hot. The restaurant may not be in the most ideal location, but it was convenient for us since we were staying in the area. It is advisable to make reservations as they were at full capacity and had to turn away customers.

Since the last owners sold the business it looks the same inside. The food is just as good too! Better value with all you can eat but we went for set menu. I'm glad it's stayed the same though as we'll be returning soon. The food here is lovely!
