Dough Bar - Liverpool

This place is truly fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. The food was delicious and I will absolutely be returning. A perfect 10 out of 10!

Found this place on trip advisor looking for something to eat in the lime street station area. This place popped up and decided to give it a go. We had an elderly family member with us, she was a bit put off by the external look of the establishment as it has a young student bar look to it with band posters and video game cabinets around the entrance. We pressed on, the next thing was it was very empty but had only just opened, the gentleman at the bar welcomed us in, he was very friendly and helpful, the older family member felt more at ease at once. We sat in a little booth and ordered food and drink, all came quick, looked amazing and tasted wonderful, best pizza I’ve had in Liverpool, the salt and pepper chicken pizza is highly recommended. I asked my son if he liked the place “can we go back next time” high recommendation indeed.

As a tourist, who was eager to experience the food and ambient I had seen online, and with high expectations after reading some great reviews, it was really frustrating how unwelcome I felt there. Wasn't really sure where to sit or order, and how things run there in general, and the staff thought it would be funnier to laugh of the jokes from another customer about my broken english or something, than bothering to help me and my wife in any way. Place wasn't even busy, wouldn't hurt taking 30 seconds to provide some basic orientation. We left after a few minutes as we definitely wouldn't like to stay in a place where we were clearly an inconvenient. Thankfully this was an exception in Liverpool, and throughout our stay, we found many other places with staff that are friendly and kind to everyone, not just regular or local customers.

A brilliant spot for families, especially on a rainy evening. Pizza is fresh, hot and delicious. The retro games and music turned a meal into an evening out! Kids were entertained and fed. Thank you to the lovely staff (especially the girl from Belfast). Thanks a million Dough Bar! Will be coming back again

Good pizza. Great entrees! The bar seems to be an issue ... how do you not know how to make martinis?
