Casa Orozco Livermore

The food was not good especially for the price! The beans taste like can beans and the rice was hard. I ordered steak dinner and only ate half of the steak. Tasted like cheap beef. Disgrace to Mexican food and culture. The only good thing were the Margaritas.

We especially love their live music days on the patio.

The service was excellent for my reservation for 10. I changed it to 8 that morning with a later arrival time from a hike. Our table was in a darker area of the restaurant but already set with refreshing ice water! I appreciated that so didn't ask for a different table and everything was great from there. Our server took care of our many questions and orders, and gave us more options to pay than most restaurants, all very important for our large group!

I have enjoyed Casa Orozco for a couple of decades, but in recent years, they just seem to be not as good. Food is middling, prices are silly high. A basic burrito is $18. Silly. Our local taqueria exceeds the quality for a fraction of the price.

The crowd was beyond manageable; the server needed multiple reminders for our orders. our earlier experience was amazing but last evening was a disaster when I took my friends for birthday celebration! No plans to return to this place.
