Bidrage med feedbackI was in town with my wife for a wedding and decided to stop in this shop. The cupcakes were so cute we ended up buying 4 of them. The salted caramel one was especially amazing super moist cake and unbelievable flavor. Wish we had this shop near us backhome!
Majority of high star reviews are from when business was Gigi's then replaced by 303 Bakes. Now replaced by Butterscotch Grove and quality is terrible. My wife and I have been going to Gigi's since the location came to Aspen Grove in Littleton years ago,but when the business was struggling and became 303 Bakes during Covid we were nervous but still happy to support a localbusiness. Overall the quality was comparable and the staff was very polite/friendly. It had seemed my wife didn't lose herfavorite little cupcake shop. However, jump ahead to a year or two ago when 303 Bakes became Butterscotch Grove and the companypractically jumped off a cliff. We have been in numerous times to the new location and the staff is ALWAYS rude/impatient nomatter the time of day as well as the cupcakes are terrible even though they claim the recipe hasn't changed with the businessname. Overall, the company feels as though it has gone from a small business with professional results to something that iscomparable to a grocery store bakery. We will be finding a new place to go from now on.
It is a very cute store with lots of cupcakes. They do have one vegan option and some gluten free. There is coffee as well. We took a group of disabled adults and they enjoyed all of the treats.
Got a German chocolate cupcake, that also had some filling. It was mid-day Saturday, so the pickings were fewer but still plenty to choose from. If I could, I'd try everything! Cost was about $5 for one cupcake, or brownie, or cookie. They need a bell, atthe countertop, to let people know someone is out front (when the staff is busy in the back). Otherwise, very friendly.
Gigis' was always serving banging cupcakes. When the name changed they said they use the same recipes but after giving this place several chances, I wont waste my money here again. Dry dry dry. As other people have stated, the service is rough. Eachtime I have gone in the employee seems to be in a bad mood. Not great cupcakes to go with not great service. Today when Istopped in at 630, they had one cupcake left at an hour and a half to close... Experienced the usual low vibe. No comment ontheir lack of product... I picked some other items because I needed something and didn't have time to swing by a differentspot. I paid $15 cash for a $30 bill and got 47 cents change? Not sure if this woman didn't understand basic math and how towork a register? Only stop here if you are absolutely desperate for a sugar rush. The grocery store down the rode has cupcakesthat are comparable or better.
