Our friends had both chickens and wife and I had seafood. Seafood was good, but the great portions of piri piri chicken our companions had made us very jealous!
Not the easiest place to find, but definitely worth finding out. this local bar/restaurant was fully prepared by local and tourist enjoying the inexpensive meats and seafood on the grill. I sat on the bar and had the otopus (a first for me) covered with a glass wee, followed by rice pudding with zimt. that cost me 15,50 € the staff was friendly and helpful, even if I tried to order with my very basic Portuguese, although most employees seem to speak English.
Always my place in Lisbon. Great food (especially octopus and shrimp), beautiful atmosphere (busy but beautiful service).
We ate here, two nights in a row, each night, it was jampacked full, but we didn’t have to wait too long to get a table. The price for food and drink was more than fair. A large bowl of vegetable soup was €1.50. We probably would’ve returned had we had more time in Lisbon.
Popular restaurant with good prices and good food. Nothing fancy but all well cooked. I wish I could have gone more times but apparently closes on Sundays. Those sardines will be in my memory for years, razor clams were also very good (not a single grain of sand), as was everything we ordered to be honest. Would definetely go again.
