When we got to Lincoln it was full for a biker rally. These guys were closing but were willing to accommodate a small group and get us some grub. They also made some extra grub (for free) to take to the law enforcement staff at the venue across the street. They earned my loyalty right then.
After visiting the Blackfoot Pathways Sculpture Garden, we dropped in at the Pit Stop for lunch. We received a friendly greeting and were surprised at the full menu. My wife ordered the Chicken strips and I had the Ham Sub Sandwich . The Chicken appeared to be full chicken chicken breast filets that were hand seasoned and breaded and were delicious! It came with a salad that had fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, The Ham Sub was served on a home-made white hoagy roll (Wheat was an option) which tasted like it had been backed earlier in the day. These were accompanied by delicious huckleberry milkshakes. The service was friendly, prompt, and helpful. (e.g. Recommending different barbeque sauces for the chicken) While we were there, the local ladies ' Red Hat Society arrived and were shown to a room which had been set up for them. That was quite an endorsement! We definitely recommend this establishment for lunch and will make it a necessary stop when in the area!
Cute little dinner. Food was good, prices were low. Service was a bit slow, but we expect that because of how busy they were.
Good old fashioned burger joint! Great food, fun atmosphere, happy-friendly staff. I highly recommend!
