Great drinks and great food. had the red light neger and the mezcal white neger, good balance of the aromen in both, but I like the red light better. also tried their scotch egg, roasted mac and cheese, octopus salad and fish and chips. the fried dishes are very well done. crippled and not too fat or heavy. highly recommended for every visitor in kauai

Hands down, the best meal I have ever had on this island. I've been coming here for the past 22 years. Could not give this a higher recommendation. Not only is the food phenomenal, but the staff and the ambience are incredible as well. Fir dessert we had the bread pudding, deep fried and it was delicious!

I would highly recommend a meal at Avalon while in Kauai! We had the scotch egg, Asian tacos, truffle fries, fried brussel sprouts, pot pie of the day (turkey, carrots, bechamel, mashed potatoes), and deep fried brioche bread pudding. The Asian tacos were my least favorite but everything else was outstanding. They definitely seemed short staffed but the food was worth the wait. We got there at around 5/6 pm on a Wednesday and were able to get outdoor seating. However, it got busier as the evening progressed and it seemed like reservations were needed for eating later in the evening. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing food and drinks! The Pub Steak and Whiskey Mai Tai was my favorite! The staff was wonderful and friendly! Definitely will return next time in Kauai!

The dining experience was outstanding. This was our first meal after arriving, and it certainly did not disappoint. The smoked wings were the best we've ever had, even without any sauce. As residents of North Carolina, we're accustomed to good BBQ and smoked meat, and these wings really set the standard. The Ono fish and chips were precisely what we were craving; they were fresh and the batter was delicious. To top it all off, the flourless chocolate cake and peanut butter ice cream provided the perfect ending to our meal. The whisky mai tai was a creative twist on the classic, plus it was a generous drink. I highly recommend Avalon when you're on the island, just make sure to secure a reservation ahead of time.
