Tootsie is a living legend with good reason. She surely does “smoke the good stuff”. It was an honor to make her “Texas Salad” my breakfast. We got on the road from Austin at 4:30am. We were numbers 48 and 49 in line. It was an amazing experience with a friend. I love Texas. I love bbq. This trip and place make easy to remember why. We arrived at 4:45 AM #74 and #75 in line! Waited through the rain and had a blast! Bring chairs and rain gear! Food was delicious. Favorites: turkey, ribs and brisket! Banana pudding was next level. Meeting Ms. Tootsie was so fun! She took pics with everyone and was very friendly. Great merch reasonably priced.

We came here a couple weeks ago and got to experience the line for about 2.5 hours the free drinks were awesome. Everyone was super friendly and the food was delicious! It was definitely exciting seeing Tootsie working her craft and I'd come back again
