Hudson's Smokehouse - Lexington

It was ok. I ordered a two-piece Chicken dinner. The chicken was cold. Very cold!! The collards were good. I called my order in and was thinking it would be fresh since I had to wait 25 minutes to get it. I also ordered the BBQ egg rolls that had pull pork and collard green they were good

Had the day off. The wife and I decided to try lunch at Hudson's. Hadn't been there in a hot minute. Glas we did. For $13 and some change y can eat all the tasty vittles u can handle. Believe me.....I did. It blew my diet for the week but what the hell. I'll start back on Tuesday. It's good and it's worth the cash. It's a hometown business and I'm sure Robin is lookin down and proud on how it's continued.

You will not be satisfied when you go on Saturday, that's the day I go. I tend to eat all catfish and hash and rice. This will make it difficult for you to get! The decor is definitely shabby (County) chic. Just my way. If you are deplorable enough to let sit by an ugly old man with questionable character near the kitchen entrance, it is probably me. Just remember, I got dibs on the sweet potato casrole. And by the way, for those of you who are not BBQ Savvy, their chopped and BBQ hash is the Bavarian flavor. (This means must-based) that is the way we roll in this part of S.C. And if you are not from here, hash is BBQ pork, which is finely crushed and about everything you want, but mostly rice. The staff is always friendly and the price is among the best you find? ll, but only IF I leave you to buy. I hope this helps to decide whether or not you come here.

Good BBQ buffet. Appropriately expensive. Pig meat, oash, catfish fillets and roasted chicken on buffet with all usual sides. All were very good. Other meats such as ribs and brisket can be ordered from the menu as well as traditional dishes. Great service. Nice family atmosphere. Sports on TV is in the bar.
