Dala - Leukerbad

This is a traditional resturant which is clearly popular with locals and visitors alike. Pleasant welcome and decor. This is a no pressure place where the staff understand the balance between being attentive but not intrusive. Nice job. Very good menu where we were drawn to the Zürich inspired porc with cream sauce and Rosti. Delicious ! Highly recommended

Don't stay in this hotel. We stayed in a family apartment end of October. Weather was sunny, but cold. There was no heating in the apart,net, end the whole family was cold. When we art Bed, we were surprised that the kitchen, also book on booking.com, was in fact at an extra cost. After some arguing, they opened the kitchen and we were told it would be for free. At check out, they charged us 30. for it anyways (for one night! . I would call this lying and even stealing. I will never support thieves. The place was expensive for what it offers and for the cold night we spent. Pillows are so soft that they are useless. This is not my first bad experience in Switzerland. I'm Swiss myself, and ashamed for the poor service and bad welcome in our hotels. Some hotels should simply be closed because of the bad reputation they give to our beautiful country, and this is one of those. Don't stay here. In fact you may as well drop Leukerbad altogether, it is not worth the detour.

Für uns ist jedes Jahr das perfekte Fleisch im Rest. Dala ! Das flambierte Filet Woronov ist perfekt auf den Punkt gebraten! So ein zartes Fleisch, das einem auf der Zunge fast zergeht mit der sehr feinen Sauce dazu ! Ein Gaumenschaus auf höchstem Niveau!! Zu alledem ist der Empfang und Service immer sehr familiär und kompetent bei der Weinauslese! Ein muss wer gerne gutes Fleisch geniessen will !

The restaurant is not that big but this is the focus key of the Dala. Personnel is kind and speak greatly German, French and Italian; cuisine is tasty and we didn't have to wait too much for being served. For non-meat eaters there are alternatives and they are willing to cook something extra menu if needed.

Restaurant Châpo qui ne figure pas sur le plan de Loèche-les-Bains, alors il faut appeler un chat un chat: c'est le restaurant Dala.
