Bidrage med feedbackThere were four of us trying to eat in this restaurant. there was a table with a group of 6 people and only one additional table with one person. we left our bikes next to the restaurant and occupied two tables in the...signs only to say that everything is reserved and that we can sit on the only table without shadowing. there was nothing to show that the remaining tables were reserved. the message we do not welcome was very clear. one of the guests suggested that we can have their table as soon as it is finished and that there is another restaurant that would welcome us. we had a nice eating place at another place and the tables were still empty after an hour when we drove back to our way
Here without reservation for the price lunch. absolutely typical French and fabulous! the food was generously cut and every bit a real tasty bite for 20euro.
Family visit early in our holiday. as we visited everywhere, we found little for children the burger 18Euro ever, were huge, rare and fine for an adult, but the children were less impressed. but they loved the profiterole dessert! feed them first and go after the nights I guess. the adult ' eating was good a marmite pecheur at 25euros was impressive and impressed; entrecotes were ok 21 euro and the frit good; with wein the meal for 6 came to £189 averaged for the opposite we thought. eating near the sea is always a pleasure.
Very pleasant at night, although on a street corner, if they wish the view over the pond and the sea. not really busy when we left. eat great. good wine list very nice service. warm evening sun. is there something better? they will not be destroyed...
In the luncheon desert that is La Franqui on a Monday, we came across this attractive restaurant a bit further along the promenade. After my (French) sister-in-law asked for a table, we were informed that only shellfish was available. Perfect! Nothing more had we wanted....An oasis? After presuming to take our seat and waiting 3 minutes for the rest of the party to park their car, we were then informed that they we no longer going to serve us. At 1:45pm! After first being grudgingly welcomed, we were turned out into the street like dogs. Fortune directed us, unknowingly, to a magnificent roadside auberge, where the service was excellent, as it has been in most places we have eaten in this region. Obviously L'Etang has enough business to treat clients like this. Avoid. It's just a mirage.
