Stopd on Saturday at 1 a.m. and waited a few minutes for employees to appear either in the register or in the food counter. So I pumped my head into the kitchen to someone who sits down washbasins that lures me that the kitchen is closed. Not standard activity for a Maverick on Saturday. No hours posted, no business or owner contact info posted. If it were my shop, I would want to know.
This place use to be a good place to grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee, but lately it's been a real disappointment. Coffee is either out or watered down. I had a sandwich that was still doughy, hope I don't get sick.
Extremely rude unfriendly person named Sena working as a cashier. We go here all the time but I may not be back. Read on for the full story but if you don 't have time to read, there is a friendlier gas station down the street. The cashier Sena was very unfriendly and rude to me. I felt like I was really bothering him because I asked about milk being 2 for $7 but my whole milk didn 't qualify. I said that 's fine I need whole for the kids and proceeded to check out. I forgot to put in my adventure card number so I asked to start over. He didn 't respond just slammed some keyboard button. I removed my card and put in my alt ID. Once checked out he said something like you can go now . I said I didn 't get a receipt to which he started making flailing motions dramatically pushing some buttons ripped off the receipt and flung it at me. I was feeling VERY uncomfortable by this point and confused as to why this person was treating me so poorly. Normally at this Maverik everyone is either super nice or at least professional. I asked him if the customer always has to ask for a receipt to which he rolled his eyes and said something like ok bye . I asked him if he is a manager. He said why . I said I have never been treated so poorly in a Maverik before. He just looked off and I said is there and owner or someone I can talk to. He began to tell me that he doesn 't care what i think because he recently hurt his knee. I made multiple attempts to get his name and the contact information of the store manager and he said it was on the receipt multiple times but would not tell me. When I went to the car I did not find any names on the receipt so I returned and asked for his name again and he walked to the other side of the store and told the other cashier to write his name on the back of my receipt. The other cashier said to me I don 't know why you are doing this, it 's not worth it. Not sure if that was a threat or him telling me I shouldn 't make such a big deal about being treated like that. I left but am still feeling very regretful that I went to Maverik and had that experience and i doubt I will be back and will go out of my way to avoid spending money at any Maverik in the future.
This location is awesome, my older vehicles run great on the Ethanol-free fuel, and it's available at every pump!
