The kind staff filled both of my bikes’ tires with air for free and made sure I was happy by giving it a test ride to make sure they felt just right. A wonderful experience; will be back for all my biking needs!

Nice shop, nice guys. Took my Tarmac in for service and Justin was excellent: knowledgeable, thorough, listens and does not oversell. Dawn and Doug do a great job helping people, and Dawn fixes whatever problem (brakes, shifting, crank, etc) I encounter.

Had a bad experience at another bike shop that never got resolved. Issue: install upgraded hydraulic brakes both front and back on my Jamis Coda. Problem: The brakes were not compatible with the shifters, and they leaked. The bleed ports were stripped. After spending $160 I had no confidence in the brakes, and could not ride my bike. I took the Coda to Maverick at the recommendation of Handy Bikes (which I highly recommend). They are in DC and too far of a drive. Dawn assessed the problem. The brakes could not be saved, and she installed a new set. She also raised my bar with a new stem stack. I am so appreciative of this shop handling my problem. Warning: to any bike techs reading this review. Please don't tackle hydraulic brakes if you have no to little experience. It only frustrates customers. BTW: I did go back and request full credit at the other shop.

This is a great shop. They fixed up a donated bike for a refugee at no cost. This will be my bike shop in the future.

Fixed my broken axle on the spot when I just walked in. Friendly. Efficient and so affordable!! Convenient to the W&OD.
