Osaka - Leavenworth

WOW! who knew?. Color me SHOCKED. We've driven by this place a million times and weren't even sure it was open...then one night we saw it listed here and decided to give it a whirl. The sushi is AMAZING. We enjoy both raw and cooked and while I was a little apprehensive about ordering raw fish at a small town sushi restaurant in the middle of the country, it was delicious! Fresh, high quality, and a huge selection of rolls to choose from. The ambiance is a little funny the couple who own it were yelling at each other (not in a bad way) from the kitchen to the sushi station, and their little girl was watching cartoons on the bar tv, but the waiter was attentive, the food was fairly priced and the food was incredible. We will be back in no time!

Amazing! My favorite! We spend a small fortune here every month. Everything is so yummy. Do not be put off by outside or inside appearance. Now I'm craving it.

Great Sushi. I have been waiting for a sushi restaurant to open in Leavenworth for years! This restaurant doesn't disappoint. I've have been to this restaurant several times the past few months. I loved it all, but I would definitely recommend the Kansas Roll. The sweet BBQ sauce poured over the eel and shrimp make this roll stand out.

Hole in the wall restaurant in Leavenworth, KS....I was suspicious, but hopeful. I was not disappointed! I love this place and I will probably be spending way too much money there. I'm thrilled there is decent sushi to be had in Leavenworth. Eat here!

Great people, great food, inexpensive.. Very nice people who make great food to order. I recommend the bento boxes, esp chicken or shrimp tempura veggies. For now, BYOB. They are working on a liquor license, but as of early July 2012 they don't have it yet. As the reviewer above noted, this place is a great surprise.
