The attitude is of course absolutely amazing, but the food is also. The staff works very hard to serve all inside and outside, so you have to wait a bit, but the food is totally worth it. Very good local dishes such as Pizzocheri and of course their freshly baked bread with anise. Beautiful ladies who made jokes with our children. Super cozy place that is worth a stop in summer and winter. And for a very good price in Switzerland!

I was here yesterday and there is no doubt that this is in a beautiful place, but there ends the good part. Staff in this place is rude. If I had known that there were drinks on the train, they'd tell you only after the train left this station, I wouldn't have had a drink there because they were rude. Get your drinks from the nice staff on the train, do not submit to this terrible treatment.

We came through here a few years ago, a stop for lunch, and thought it would be a great place to stay! we stayed only for 2 nights, and wished we stayed longer, from the moment you left the train and go thru the doors we were made to feel very welcome, almost like family! check in a few minutes and were shown to our room, cancian the best room for sure as its at the corner of the hotel look down at italy, and back looking at the lake. Many money has been spent here recently, the rooms are now all en-suite, and this room, and the others too, are of a very high standard, large beds, lots of rooms and great walk in showers... Food is very good, we recomend the gulasch soup, sat on the balcony at noon, in the sun. We both had steaks in the night that were made perfect... Continental breakfast is also good... so close to the railway line, you would think it would be loud, but its not, the last train thru is 20.41....... although under freezing in the night we opened with the windows, for the fresh mountain air, there is surely an appetite for you! We will certainly be next to you again, a longer stay! only drawback, there are no tea coffee facilities in the rooms, but I am sure it will be soon.. asx to primo and his staff for a very pleasant stay..

I stayed here while on a hike in the area and recommend it very much. Excellent house cooked food at very reasonable prices. The restaurant also has accommodation and it was easy, but very good.

Good place, it's the casino restaurant, we ate well at reasonable price. a bit noisy as it fills up immediately
