la Boheme - Le Mans

We had to find a place to have a quick dinner and we ended up at la Boheme. The steaks on the burgers were a bit burnt. On the other hand, fries were good and my husband and I got a big portion of salad. The service was good and the waitress very kind specially when my son splashed his juice all around.

We visited this restaurant for lunch. The seating area in the square is really nice and with atmosphere. The food is ok. Two entrecôte steaks that were just average with quite a lot of fat and one T bone that was well cooked but for me, under seasoned. Had to wait ages for sauces and mustard never arrived. It's a nice atmosphere and I think that's it's main attraction - not the food.

I did not check out reviews before visiting this "restaurant". Wandered round the square and selected this one because the Mrs did not want a grill. Should have looked before we leapt.Crab and avocado salad was basic but acceptable, the main of scallops with crab ravioli was just inedible. The scallops overcooked and the pasta on the ravioli too thick and so hard it would not cut with the knife plus with the crab filling could have done service as a musket bullet it was so dry.Waitress was indifferent, wine by carafe to be avoided as is the whole place.

I wish I had read the reviews before coming here or noticed the number of dissatisfied customers leaving. The place has nice decor and average food but the service is the worst I have had in a long time. Some people sat down and left before being helped. Our simple meal took two and a half hours and no amount of prompting the help sped up our service. We finally had to go to the bar to pay the bill and the person taking my money was rude. Even the toilets needed attention. I can not recommend this restaurant.

Nice restaurant with nice staff and they provide wifi password wich is always nice when we have roaming costs. The food is good and they have a good quality/price ratio.
