Restaurant le Tam Tam - Le Lavandou

We start with the most positive experience: service, it was very good. five stars. we had recorded the menus, alternating quality on this front page. two courts stated that the fish used is frozen and not only for days). other dishes were really convincing, and always innovativ. three and a half stars here and finally the horror part of the experience. there was only one toilet for dozens of guests, in no ventilation. alart from Covid-19, there are several other good reasons to force a kind of forced ventilation on places where people are abortioned. the cherry on the cake was the soap that was missing in the toilet. I cannot avoid thinking about the staff of the restaurant occasionally using the toilet and then washing their hands with water. all this at a place where they spend over 100 eur for a two-person dinner. I will never go back and encourage any potential visitor to rethink the above mentioned (can inspect the toilet before they book or sit, which would otherwise be a nice place).

A modern yet comfortable restaurant with views of the sea. the service was first-class and the quality of eating was very good.

We were about the location near the boardwalk on the outside and good reviews of other customers, but the experience was not on good standards. from the menu (carte des mets,) many food items were not available, so we went for one of them. expensive menu, but a piece of meat was not available and we were told that a “pavé” would be served instead. to our surprise we got a chewing faux act that was totally hard and overcooked and not what we were promised. the server was useless and would not be attentive. we have a free coffee as “Dédommagement”! I will never advise anyone to check this place

Hit and miss type of place. it is really a shame that half of the moules were not possible to eat, simply under coocked. You order grilled fish and you get something else. Well all this is mixed with really good food, I guess they...have problem to manage the quality assurance in the kitchen in peak hours.

We have tam tam tam in juli 20 as part of a visit in the opposite attempt. this time 21 sept we drove 120 miles special to enjoy tam tam. it was as good as ever, eating, service and position. we had a very relaxed lunch....10 days in our holiday it is the best meal we had. if they have the opportunity to eat here. hope to be back in 2022
