La Rupe - Laurino

Lovely local food prepared with great love by chef Alphonso who was serving us with warmth and joy. Everything was done to make us feel welcome and you couldn’t ask for a better host. We absolutelly recommend this restaurant with a beatiful view overlooking the mountains and a lovely chef.

We had lunch in this restaurant during our walking holiday in the Cilento. Simple, but really very good Italian food with top-class ingredients. Fantastic view and good service.

Beautiful ride through the mountains leads you to a city on the hill. The city is surrounded by medieval bridges to see before and after lunch. La Rube serves wonder local food including local cheeses. No English but a sincere wish to make sure you are happy. Frankly we all speak Italian when food is involved. True southern hospitality. Great experience. Beautiful views and wonderful food.
