Bidrage med feedbackAmazing knowledgeable bar staff and brilliant service. Great cocktails and range of Tasmanian beverages as well as standard offering.
We visited Henry's Bar and Restaurant prior to going to a show at he Princess Theatre. The food was excellent and the concept of choosing 3 courses off the menu for a set price was different but suited us and worked out economical. The meals were not a large size but with three courses we did not walk away hungry. Main complaint would be that we found the service slow considering there were not a lot of diners. We also had drinks ordered which after not being served with them 15 minutes later found we had been forgotten and had to ask for them again. The dining experience was good, food good with an Asian influence but service slow. We thought we were going to miss our show despite having allowed what would normally be plenty of time
My friend and I were looking for a quiet yet fabulous dinner in a cold night at Launceston and Henry’s did it. Great bourbon and cosmopolitan cocktails to start with and then the yummiest tapas-style meals. We loved the ling with ginger and soy, also had the lamb, the clam chowder and after a couple more, apple crumble with delicious cream! We drank a beautiful Holm Oak red that was perfect with all the meals. The music was just right, not loud, great ambience and very professional yet friendly service. Definitely coming back next time I’m here!
Classy and warm atmosphere really set the tone for a good evening. Everyone was delighted at way the menu was explained and the fantastic options for all...the night went so smooth. It is hard to say this is mid range on expense in a review question further down...while the price is , the food is fine dining.. As we had a booking for 8, It was lovely to have our own private room
Unusual place...but wonderful, not on main road (but connecting road between St Johns and George Street) Well worth the visit. Extremely stylish, fabulous staff, and quirky menu selection select three course from the menu which is quite extensive. Full of character charm and elegance. If this was in a major city, it would be 'booking only ' and there is plant of space.
