Luna Rossa Winery Pizzeria - Las Cruces

Called this place to order dinner. They kept me on the line forever, so I decided to try them again. Nope! Phone was off the hook next half hour. I finally gave up and ordered from some place who values their customers more.

Good place to chat and spend a nice time, drink some wine, and get a stone oven pizza. Macarroni was ok, 3 cheese pasta and salmon were great. Nutella pizza needed more time at the oven if it's always like that. I can't recommend it.

What a surprise! This is a hidden gem. The wine I tasted was spectacular, the Sangiovese and blend “Mini” all made at their winery. The restaurant was packed but everything was served on time. You will be fortunate to spend some time tasting their delicious wines and enjoying well prepared pizzas.

This place is ok. Not horrible, but not great. The pasta is always very bland. I got the salmon pasta. The salmon was cooked well and flavorful. Not overcooked or dry. The pizza is ok. Wood fired. The wine is horrible! All of it had a very odd pickled or vinegary flavor to it. Overall there are other places in town that I prefer over this one.

I am thrilled to find some genuinely good pasta dishes in Las Cruces. Add a nice wine or beer, and the evening is very pleasant here.
