Strange Matter Coffee Eastside

Stopped in off the highway, all of the baked goods were Vegan. We tried the Jalapeño “cheddar” scone, pop tart, and cinnamon bun. All were delicious! Coffee options were really nice too. I had the brown sugar cardamom latte with oat milk; fantastic!

The donuts at Strange Matter are always terrific, and they have cinnamon rolls and scones that are great as well. Don't pass up the coffee; Strange Matter had probably the best coffee I got anywhere on my recent road trip. Strange Matter also has a downtown location. It's fine to drop in there if you're nearby, but this is the primary (and much larger) location currently, so they're probably less likely to run out of donuts here. You're not likely to notice this place from the street, but the inside has great vibes. Almost all their baked goods are vegan, and they'll happily make whatever coffee order you want vegan on request.

This shop has a bunch of really awesome vegan donuts and cinnamon rolls as well. My favorite so far has been the maple walnut donut. Also has about four gluten free vegan donuts at a time as well. They don’t charge extra for plant milks in all their drinks which is amazing and it’s a cute little shop to do your homework in or catch up with friends. Not a lot of seating and it does get busy.

So I thought I would maybe have one option which is the norm usually, boy was I surprised to hear EVERYTHING was. I oredered a box of 13, to try variety. Some were amazzzzzng, some good. They were all gone in one night lol. I have to watch my sugar but will definitely be back when donut cravings come!

Stylish coffee shop, with creat coffee and lovely staff. The donuts are incredible, and they have lots of different options regularly. Big fan.
