M I Vegan Food Truck - Lansing

I tried M I Vegan about a year ago at a small food truck event. There were long lines and waiting times, so I just ordered the loaded notes. They were good, but I wasn't blown away. I was at Horrock a few weeks ago and by chance they were back! I decided to share the burgers, garlic-pommes frites and grilled cheeze with my sister. That was all! I still have dreams of this burger...

I have to eat. Seriously, these guys need more love. We have everything (loaded note, tacos, burgers, flower wings, grilled cheeze. of them and it was all AMAZING. The Lansing area desperately needs more of what these guys do. Try them for yourself, take your spouse, your mates, your big uncle Kevin, who should probably see more from outside anyway, your kids, your law enforcement, your friends from high school with whom you haven't spoken in 15 years, your parole officer, your lawyer, your financial advisor, your third cousin twice away. You have the idea. Eat here and bring them all. None of you will be disappointed (except perhaps your big uncle Kevin, he's just too hard to please these days. Everything here is really so tasteful. It is comfort food with a fresh feeling! For 5 years vegans have been in Lansing, every option here has tried. This is my favorite place.

In the Dewitt Farmer market ordered. Family had the vegan burgers, grilled cheese and cauliflower wings. Everything was excellent. I wish we had ordered a full order of wings instead of half, because our picky-eisser kids really ate them. Vegan Burger had cooked a good mix of textures with a Jenseits Burger to perfection on a Brezel neck.

I’ve tried several of their dishes and they are all delicious. Torch Lake Tacos The red coleslaw and black bean filling is a tasty combination which is accented by the spicy mayo like sauce. The corn tortilla gives soft taco feel with a hard shell taste. Traverse City Tots For these tots think loaded nachos with tots instead of nachos. The taste of salsa, beans, and sauce really compliment the tots. Midwest Wings, Garlic Parmesan The light batter coating creates a slight crunch around the cauliflower wings which holds up well with this mayo like creamy cheesy and garlic sauce with a light, spicy kick. Chocolate Chip Cookies They are thick and chewy. The edges are thick, like the middle, but have a crispness. The cookies are just the right amount of sweetness. A delicious end to a delicious meal!
